For the longest time, I wondered why they called the radio station at Bayside High School "KKTY." What did that have to do with anything? I am so thrilled about my new blogging project, Popular Sentiment, aka popsent. As the name implies, with this project I hope to dive deep into the murky waters of popular culture, both current and antique. What defines our world and/or our culture better than the things we seem to be most obsessed with? Call it a meta-fascination if you will, but I can't get enough of the things people can't seem to get enough of. I shall be a consumer of consumption.
